The Guild is a long running economic strategy game from Jowood. The game focuses on you adopting different professions and living in an economically run city. Its something similar to Sims and Settlers amix. This is an expansion of the original Guild 2 and takes the game to Reniassance era when the middle class started to take economy and knowledge in their hands, the two things that were tools of the nobels. And thus the middle class will rise against the aristocrats. The game allows city building, trading, profession progression etc. The game is not much hailed in media, but I did play original Guild game and thought it was much better than all other economic strategy games like Anno 1400 etc.
